Purpose
The Ohio/Michigan Girls Wrestling Exchange is designed to bring together two of the nation’s premier girls wrestling communities for a weekend centered around:
- Elite competition
- Leadership development
- Athlete mentorship
- Community engagement
- Coach collaboration
- Growing girls wrestling nationally
Rather than simply competing against one another, athletes will train together, learn together, and build relationships that extend beyond state lines.

Friday

Invite-only training session featuring Team Michigan and Team Ohio.
Saturday
- Joint Dual Team Practice/Grab and go Breakfast – TBD
- Michigan × Ohio Girls Clinic – 10-2 PM
Open to girls of all ages and experience levels. - Michigan vs Ohio Dual – Time TBD
Featuring many of the Midwest’s top-ranked HS/College & Senior level female wrestlers.

Long-Term Vision
This exchange is intended to become an annual tradition, rotating between Ohio and Michigan while serving as a model for future interstate collaborations.
Future expansion could include Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Wisconsin, creating a national network of leadership exchanges that unite elite female wrestlers through competition, mentorship, and service.
By investing in experiences like this, we are doing more than developing champions, we are building relationships, empowering young women, and strengthening the future of girls wrestling across the United States.
